DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – WELCOME DINNER AT DELIGHTFUL RESTAURANT

Greeted on arrival Hanoi airport by our guide and take a short transfer downtown to hotel. Take a rest with welcome drink until enjoy your welcome dinner at charming and ornate restaurant. The setting is truly splendid, enhanced by an exquisite traditional music that surely offers a magical evening ambience and a wonderful memory of Hanoi to starting exceptional holiday.

DAY 2: HALF DAY ORIENTAL HANOI SIGHTSEEING 

Breakfast is served from 6am to 10am for your enjoying. Your tour-guide will meet you at 11:00 to visit can’t-miss attraction in Hanoi. You will then enjoy a cyclo ride through the Old Quarter also known as the ‘Hanoi’s 36 streets’.

This bustling area of narrow streets and alleys is home to literally thousands of small businesses and shopkeepers. It's a great place to explore with plenty of photo opportunities around you. Continue to another landmark of the city, Temple of Literature - Vietnam's first university that built from 1076 where for incredible more than 700 years, Vietnamese intellectuals were educated and names of those received Doctor Laureate through Royal examination still remain on huge stone steles that stand on turtle’s backs.

Take a quick glimpse at memorial complex for the historic figure and father of modern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh then visit to the fascinating Ethnology Museum, which are both a research centre and a public museum exhibiting the ethnic groups of Vietnam.
Stroll around legendary Hoan Kiem Lake (Sword Lake) at sunset and sipping the “egg coffee” at a nice coffee shop before finish the tour at your hotel.

DAY 3: HANOI – HA LONG CRUISE

Morning depart for Ha Long Bay, we go through the scenic countryside. The wondrous Ha Long Bay is truly one of Vietnam’s most impressive scenic sights. Heading out of the town we embark on a boat for an exploration of the gorgeous Ha Long Bay.

This exciting five hour cruise will provide us a fantastic view of the picturesque scenery blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. The limestone karsts formations are littered with beaches, grottoes and beautiful caves. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove and an enjoyable visit to one of the many hidden grottoes beneath towering cliffs.

DAY 4: HA LONG CRUISE – HANOI

Sitting on the upper deck and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. The quiet is almost eerie; we can hear birds singing, cicadas chirping ashore and the gentle lapping of the waves against our boat, the perfect soundtrack to accompany the fresh air and gentle breeze.

Our Junk starts cruising back while the brunch buffet will be served. Check out and arrive at harbor by 12:00 noon, we will drive back to Hanoi. Arrive your hotel in Hanoi at around 4.00pm, check in the hotel and relax. 

DAY 5: HANOI DEPARTURE – WELCOME TO HUE

Free as your leisure until transfer to the airport for 1hr flying to Hue, estimate departure in early afternoon.  Hue is an ancient romantic city, famous for its magnificent architecture including the Citadel, palaces, pagodas and royal tombs built under the 13 emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty against a poetic background of greenery on the banks of the Perfume River.

Hue was recognized as the World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1993. Hue has represented the cultural and spiritual centre of Vietnam since ancient times.

Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to hotel in Hue. Leisurely relax until evening, spend an unforgettable candlelit evening in the magical setting of the Tha Om garden house. The complex is fully working replica of traditional 19th century Hue garden house complete garden with lotus ponds and trees and f course Hue’s unique royal cuisine.

DAY 6: HISTORICAL HUE SIGHTSEEING

As your appointment, the tour-guide will meet you at the hotel, starting about 5 hours leisurely explore Hue city. We will visit the Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945, The ancient citadel reflects the pomp and ceremony of the dynastic rulers as well as the scars of many years of turmoil, both ancient and modern (the Royal Citadel was badly damaged in the latter stages of the war) but retains a sense of grace and majesty even today.

From here take a cyclo through dai noi ‘Old City’ to Tinh Tam Lake where the Emperors used to come to relax; full of lotus flowers in summer there are many local style coffee shops around the lake where university students come to study. Try some renowned Hue cuisine for lunch.

After lunch (on your own cost) we visit Ming Mang Emperor's mausoleum. This is an opportunity to learn more about Nguyen Kings and to enjoy the spectacular landscape.

DAY 7: HUE – CLOUNDY PASS – HOI AN ARRIVAL

Time is yours so you will decide time to leave Hue today. We will cross Hai Van Pass where you will have magnificent view of the Da nang Sea. 

Known as Faifo to early Western traders, it was one of South East Asia's major international ports and today it still retains that special old-world feel. Enjoy a walking tour through the Old Quarter and try some of the local specialties. Hoi An is also famous for its large number of tailor shops, so if you want to have a new wardrobe made up, this is the time to do it

DAY 8: EXPERIENCE BEAUTIFUL & PEACEFUL HOI AN

As your choice, we will arrange your service today. We hightly recommend some gently sightseeing in charming Hoi An town as below:

  • Get your time to wander around and admire the beauty of this little Hoi An ancient town. Despite the passing of 200 years and the ravages of weather and war, the center of Hoi An remains much the same as it was in its heyday. This walking tour is the best way to see the wooden-fronted houses that once belonged to the town’s prosperous merchants, the Japanese-covered Bridge and the wonderful market as well as the many silk, handicrafts, antique shops and galleries.
  • Boat trip on Thu Bon River to visit handicraft villages, included lantern, pottery and carpentry villages 
  • Cooking class with local market strolling or herb village cycling.
  • Explore countryside with framer and fisher lifestyle.

DAY 9: HOI AN

You will be free at leisure on the beach/pool and we will arrange a private car with English Speaking driver standby as your direction. Or, we are happy to arrange easy sightseeing as your pick from recommendation

  • Visit the fascinating Cham Museum, famous Danang Beach and the Marble Mountains in Da Nang.
  • My Son Sanctuary - the cultural highlight of Central Vietnam, the temple complex at My Son. Granted UNESCO World Heritage status in 1999 the tower-temples were the seat of the Champa Kingdom for the majority of its existence between the 4th and 13th centuries. The sanctuary is situated in an impressive location surrounded by hills, around 35 km inland from the coast at Hoi An. Whilst not as spectacular as the great Angkor complexes in Cambodia, the remaining structures are atmospheric enough to conjure images of the majesty of the Champa Kingdom. Most visitors agree that a visit is well worthwhile.


DAY 10: HOI AN DEPARTURE – NHA TRANG ARRIVAL

Have breakfast at the hotel then free at your leisure till transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Nha Trang.
On arrival Nha Trang, you will be welcomed by driver, transfer to hotel for check in and start some your days of silence on a beach in a shade of palm trees.

DAY 11: NHA TRANG

You are free at your leisure or take some easy hours to visit the Po Nagar Cham Towers, Long Son Pagoda, with its enormous white Buddha statue and the lively Dam Market.

DAY 12: NHA TRANG BEACH RELAX

Indulge your whole day at beach/spa or take slightly boat trip to isolate islands, where you can swim and snorkel in the clear warm waters and enjoy BBQ lunch on private beach/boat.

DAY 13: NHA TRANG DEPARTURE – HO CHI MINH ARRIVAL 

You have full day relax on beach, shopping till transfer to Nha Trang airport to flight to Ho Chi Minh City.  Your private driver is waiting for you at HCM airport for transfer to hotel for check in procedure.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH HIGHLIGHTS SIGHTSEEING

There are some highlights at your proposal today: Visit Cu Chi Tunnel or take some hours sightseeing within the city, such as Independence Palace (former Presidential Palace of the South of Vietnam), admire the special gothic style of century-old Notre-Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, traditional medicine museum - the FITO Museum, Jade Emperor Pagoda…

DAY 15: HO CHI MINH DEPARTURE

Enjoy some free time for last purchases or simply relax until your private car pick up to Ho Chi Minh airport for your flight back home.

  • Deposit and Payment:  30% of total invoice should be deposit at the time of booking for guarantee. Final payment is no later than 7days in advance of arrival date.
  • Cancellation: If cancelling less than 15 days, the deposit is non-refundable. After final payment is received a cancellation fee of approximately 75% applies. This percentage may be less depending on the date of cancellation. A cancellation fee of 100% is applicable within 03 days of travel.

If there is a dramatic fluctuation in the exchange rate or the price of services provided, which are beyond the control of Ciao Travel, Ciao Travel reserves the right to adjust tour prices accordingly, even though the balance of payment may have been made.
