Iconic motor yacht OCEAN EMERALD explores the islands and bays of Thailand and beyond. From April/May - October she cruises the east coast of Thailand (Pattaya/Koh Samui) and from November - March/April the west side (Phuket).

Designed by renowned architect Sir Norman Foster, OCEAN EMERALD was built by Italian shipyard Rodriquez Yachts in 2009 and refitted in 2015, 2016, and most recently in October 2019 where she launched into the festive season with a brand new interior.

OCEAN EMERALD’s superstructure is placed forward to maximize outdoor terrace space, with interior spaces opened up to daylight and views. Her striking modern design enables a voluminous interior, with 30% more interior space than other yachts her size.

Two stylish salons offer large entertainment areas on board. OCEAN EMERALD's main deck salon has floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows and offers a formal dining area for guests. The informal upper deck salon has a ‘Beach House’ feel and has a bar, game station, and an extensive movie library. State of the art lighting system changes the mood from light and bright beach house, to sultry lounge bar. This salon adjoins the exterior deck offering a relaxed alfresco dining option.

Deck levels are linked by a glass spiral staircase, designed to draw daylight down through to the guest accommodation. OCEAN EMERALD has five cabins, including a grand full-beam master stateroom on the main deck with twin balconies. On the lower deck are two double staterooms featuring queen-sized beds. These staterooms feature a partition wall which when removed opens the space up into a second full-beam master suite containing a queen-sized bed, L-shaped sofa, and two full bathrooms. A twin stateroom, and a final double stateroom with a queen-sized bed and two Pullmans.

OCEAN EMERALD offers a stylish playground in the sun with several areas offering sun beds, seating, dining and bar facilities. While at anchor, the upper-deck Jacuzzi is popular for a refreshing dip in between sunbathing and relaxing. OCEAN EMERALD also offers numerous water toys for guests to enjoy, including an Axopar tender with a top speed of 40 knots; an excellent chase boat for fishing and/or exploring the many bays and coves.

OCEAN EMERALD had a starring role in the 2015 Xtreme-sport remake of cult movie POINT BREAK. She provides a spectacular platform for glamorous parties as well as intimate family and friends charters.

The OCEAN EMERALD team, most of whom have been on board long-term, deliver highly personalised service. A French plus a Thai chef devise the most delicious Western and Asian creations including lots of fresh fish and seafood.

A stabilization system reduces roll motion; even guests who have not found their ‘sea legs’ yet will feel comfortable on board at all times. She has a proven 'safety on sea' record and completed long passages (a.o. from Phuket to the Philippines) with ease, even in fairly rough weather.

OCEAN EMERALD is available in Thailand and Malaysia and surrounding countries. The unspoiled Anambas Islands can be visited from September/October until Mid-April and the Mergui Archipelago of Myanmar from November until April, depending on the booking schedule.
