Day 1

Arrival at Bangkok international airport with TBA flight. Transfer to the chosen hotel. Arrival in hotel, meeting with your guide and check in.
Free dinner. Overnight in Bangkok

Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel and at about 8:30 am meeting with the guide.

The first stop of the day will be the famous Wat Pho, the "Reclining Buddha Temple", with its huge statue of the reclining Buddha, 15 meters high and 46 meters long.

Wat Pho is the oldest Buddhist monastery in the city and also houses the oldest Thai massage school. Following with a public boat we will reach the Wat Arun, or "Temple of the Aurora", a true symbol of the city and once the royal residence of King Taksin, located on the opposite bank of the Chao Praya River. From there it will be a short distance to reach the characteristic district of Kudicheen (Kudi Chin), one of the first settlements in Bangkok after the destruction of Ayutthaya, which still preserves its identity and architecture. The picturesque wooden houses are protected by the splendid bell tower of the church of Santa Cruz, built by the Portuguese around 1770 and then restored in neo-Renaissance style by two Italian architects in the early 1900s.

Continue on foot leaving the intricate network of canals that forms the outskirts of the capital, along a path full of atmosphere until you reach the small village and learn about the local community, where time seems to have stopped.

We will visit the ancient pastry shop Thanusingha Bakery House which still produces delicious Portuguese egg and sugar based desserts, the small Baan Kudi Chin museum and the exotic Taoist temple of Kuan An Keng Shrine, immersed in a kaleidoscope of cultures perfectly in tune with each other. At the end of visits we will proceeding by car to the restaurant Savory @ Tha Maharaj, in a splendid panoramic position on the flow of life on the Chao Praya river and the old city. In the afternoon the last and most important stop of the day: the majestic and amazing Royal Grand Palace with the Wat Phra Kaew, the "Temple of the Emerald Buddha".

The Royal Palace also includes the Chakri Palace which can be visited only from outside, the Dusit Palace and the Montien Palace, which can only be visited in certain periods. Around 4.30 pm end of visits and return to the hotel. Free dinner. Overnight in Bangkok

Day 3

The first stop of the day will be the colorful Maekhlong market, crossed by the tracks of a secondary railway line. Here we will witness the spectacular passage of the small train, which slowly plunges into this active and teeming market, while the agile sellers move the merchandise just enough to be able to pass the convoy, and then resume all activities as if nothing happened!

Not far from here we find the Damnern Saduak Floating Market. On board a typical motor launch we will proceed along the exotic rural canals to reach the famous and picturesque market. Along the river the nice wooden boats form an intricate comings and goings, where the sellers manage to extricate themselves easily to offer passers-by the products of local cuisine and craftsmanship. Time to visit the bustling market and restart to immerse yourself in the more traditional rural Thai countryside.

Return to Bangkok at noon. Rest of the day free.
