James Bond Island tour
A panoramic tour, partly by minibus and partly by long tail boat, to the splendid bay of Phang Nga and to the James Bond Island, the natural set of the film 007 “The man with the gold gun” with Roger Moore. We will also visit the quaint village on piles of Panyee. Once back on land we will continue with a visit to the Suwan Khuha temple, located in a cave and populated by hundreds of monkeys, and the day will end with a refreshing swim in the Tao Thong waterfalls.

Soste: James Bond Island, PanyeeIsland, Suwan Khuha Temple, Thao Thong waterfall.
With the characteristic rocky pinnacle described in the film "The man with the golden gun", James Bond Island is certainly the highlight of the day, but also the evocative mangrove forest that will be travelled by boat to the bay of Phang Nga is certainly not less impressive.
Another culminating point is the floating village of Koh Panyee, where locals live in houses built on wooden stilts. The first inhabitants moved here from Java, to Indonesia, at the end of the 18th century. Nowadays there are over three hundred families living in the village, and although tourism has discovered this fascinating community, they continue to live by tradition and fishing is still their main source of income.
