Day 1 – Ayutthaya, Ang Thong and Wat Muang, Phi chit with Wat Mai Plai Huai

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
Early morning departure north to Ayutthaya, the city that was home to the Kings of Siam for over 400 years. Beginning of the visits with the ruins of the famous bell-shaped pagodas in the temple of the ancient royal palace, Wat Sri Samphet. Next to them is the famous Wat Monhkon Bophit, with its imposing and highly revered Buddha statue in a sitting position.

We will also visit the Cambodian-style pagodas of the immense Wat Chai Wattanaram, scenically nestled on the banks of the Chao Praya River, in a mystical and highly suggestive context. Lunch during the excursion. From Ayutthaya it will be a short distance to reach Ang Thong and the Wat Muang temple, known for the majestic and amazing golden Buddha that rises to the sky for 92 meters in height and 63 in width, and that represents the most sacred image imposing of Thailand. Lunch during the excursion and continuing north to reach Phi chit, where we will visit one of the most unusual shrines in the country, Wat Mai Plai Huai.

Wrapped in a surreal atmosphere, we will proceed to the discovery of this magical temple complex, a corner of Thailand still unknown to western and mass tourism, a place of worship and pilgrimage, among mystical representations of Buddhist life, imposing sanctuaries, statues of sacred and bewitching animals’ supernatural depictions. From Phi chit direct transfer to Phitsanulok, nestled among the rice fields of the central Thai plains. Arrival in the late afternoon/early evening at Pattara Resort and accommodation in Superior Rooms.
Free time for dinner and overnight in Phitsanuloke.

Day 2 – Sukhothai, Organic Farm Experience, Chiang Mai

Breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
We will start the day with a visit to one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Sukhothai, the first capital of Siam, is the cradle of Thai art, culture and language. Merit of the great King Ramkhameng, whose statue is right at the entrance to the Historical Park. We will visit the temples of Wat Mahathat, Wat Sa Sri and Wat Sri Sawai, immersed in the peace and tranquility of the sleepy Thai countryside.

The excursion will be carried out by bicycle or by using the electric trains provided by the local authorities. Leaving the perimeter walls of the Historical Park we will reach the Wat Sri Chum, where we will be able to admire the majestic and imposing Buddha statue 15 meters high.

Next stop is the Organic Farm near Sri Satchanalai, crossing the exotic and picturesque rural province of Thailand that is more traditional. Walking through the farm we will be able to observe, among other crops, the different stages of rice processing, the main and authentic king of the table in Thai and Asian cuisine. At the end of the visit lunch, in the farmhouse of the same farm, for a succulent and healthy meal prepared with organic farm products from the Organic Farm. Continue in a
northerly direction until you reach the territory of the Old Kingdom of Lanna, where Chiang Mai (the "Rose of the North") was the Capital for more than 5 centuries.

Arrival in Shewe Wana Boutique Resort and accommodation in Superior Room or, in alternative at Bodhi Serene Chiang Mai in Superior Room or Aruntara River Side in Deluxe Room.
Free time for dinner and overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 3 – Chiang Mai

Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a visit to the city of Chiang Mai, the "Rose of the North". We will go up the hills that dominate the city until we reach 1060 meters of altitude, where we find the splendid Wat Prathat Doi Suthep. The temple, with its majestic and suggestive golden pagoda, is the real symbol of the city, fascinatingly set on the top of the mountain in a landscape of great atmosphere. It is possible to reach the summit either by means of the comfortable elevators or by taking the more than 300 steps of the ancient staircase.

Continue on to the mountain of Doi Pui, where we will visit a characteristic village of Hmong ethnicity, nestled between the mountains covered with jungle and still far from mass tourism. Return to Chiang Mai and lunch at the welcoming Rommai Rimping restaurant set on the banks of the Ping River, offering exquisite Thai and regional cuisine in a relaxing and atmospheric setting. After lunch we will reach the historic center. The most important temples and buildings of the city remain within the once tall and mighty perimeter walls with a square plan, now in ruins, which delimited the city center.

We will visit the wonderful Wat Phra Sing, two buildings with original and characteristic carved wooden structure, decorated and embellished with gold inserts. Adjacent is the funerary bell-shaped pagoda of King Mengrai and the ancient library of monks.
Afterwards, an excursion in a horse-drawn carriage will be carried out to discover the ruins of the Temples of the ancient city of Wiang Kum Kam, among the quiet country roads in the sleepy rural province of Chiang Mai, where time seems to have stopped. End of visits and return to the hotel.
Free time for dinner and overnight in Chiang Mai.

Day 4 – Chiang Rai

Breakfast, check-out and departure for a visit to the province of Chiang Rai. Leaving the city of Chiang Mai we will continue north-east until we reach the mystical complex of Wat Phrathat Mon Phrachao Lai (Wat Prachao Luang), immersed in the silence of the mountains. We will go as far as the highest point of this Monastery, still unknown to most people, in an oasis of peace and tranquility with a splendid view of the river that flows between the green valleys.

Continue on to the amazing Wat Rong Khun, better known as the "White Temple" of Chiang Rai. Lunch during the

excursion near the Temple and continue north to reach the rugged jungle-covered peaks that mark the natural border between Thailand and Burma. From here it will be a short distance to reach the Golden Triangle, one of the most famous places in Southeast Asia, and which represents the point where the waters of the Great Mekong River touch Burma, Thailand and Laos.

Continue with a visit to the "Black House", the Baan Dam Museum, before moving to Chiang Rai, where we will admire the spectacular Wat Rong Suea Ten, the "Temple of the dancing tiger", known as the Blue Temple. Still remaining unknown to mass tourism, it is undoubtedly, along with the White Temple, one of the most enchanting and evocative temples in the country. This will be the last visit of the day, with which we will complete a truly unique journey that will unite Buddhism and modern art in a fascinating and strongly spiritual exotic context. At the end transfer to Phowadol Resort &Spa and accommodation in Superior Room or in alternative at The Imperial River House in Deluxe Room. Free time for dinner and overnight in Chiang Rai.
