Ciao Travel was honourly invited to inspected and participate grand opening party of Silk Path Grand Hue Hotel & Spa early this year 2021. Actually, Silkpath Grand Hotel & Spa is formerly Green Hotel Hue but being well renovated to be among most luxury hotels in Hue center.

Location

Located in centre of Hue city, in one of the most beautiful area, wrapped by a broad French boulevard and a snaking canal. Oppositing the Azerai La Residence and historical iconic high school, you can easily access to the famous attractions, markets, shopping…. Also, it’s just about 2km from Hue Railways Station and 20km from Hue airport.

Concept

The character of the neighborhood – colonial mansions, traditional garden houses and the city’s historic train station – inspired the hotel’s concept and design.

It is blending feudal and colonial architecture harmoniously together, you can feel the warmth and royalty at first sight.A lot of attention was put into the design, that is chic, artistic, creative and yet super practical of the hotel. It’s beautiful vibe there with chilled music while looking at the collections of pictures, flowers and artworks. Be sure to look into each of the nooks and crannies for the hidden gem of an artifact item                

Rooms

The rooms are a fusion of imperial splendor, colonial charm and modern sophistication. The rooms are well appointed with tastefully furniture.

There are five differents kind of room, including Deluxe, Classic, Premium Classic, Junior Suite, Executive and President , in which the difference of Deluxe and Classic mostly room size and outside view  

The cons of rooms (except for Junior suite upward) is that bathrooms are small and not perfectly design for the most comfortable but good enough.

Facilities & Service

• Dining: There are two main restaurants at the hotel; Olivia restaurant serves Western food, mainly Italian food. Meanwhile, Nam Phuong restaurant serves Vietnamese food, it is also place serving buffet breakfast in morning. Lobby lounge is georgeous with  collections of pictures, flowers and artworks - good place to meet up with your friend or bussiness partners. The Courtyard is at poolside, to be a good place for chill in the afternoon or break during swimming.

• Swimming pool: We love out-door pool of the hotel, that located in middle of the buildings, it’s clean, big and offers great view. It’s a perfect place to be cool in the afternoon or morning.

• Meeting rooms: The hotel has separate building for meeting and events, equiped fully of mordern facilities. There is a big grand-ball accommodates more than thousands on ground floor and three smaller function rooms that can accommodates from 50 persons to 200 persons. The meeting center is ideal for different events,  from private dining (such as Royal Dining) to a stylist wedding.

• Spa & Gym: As its name “hotel and Spa”, the Spa is the highlight. It’s very beautiful design, chic and tranquility, once step inside, you rearch serenity tasteful world. The spa offers from top to toes service. We did 60mins-body massage, therapist did great job!

• Other facilities and service: Kid club, business club is available at the hotel to satisfy from family to business travellers. We also like the garden, where you can take a peace walking.

• You should take Premium Classic room upward to enjoy large window and spacious

• Good buffet breakfast with variety choices

• Pamper yourself at Chi Spa, it’s wonderful after a day out.

• Lobby lounge is like an art gallery, your should not miss an afternoon high tea there.

• Service and team are nice and helpful.
