Night 1: Hanoi - Lao Cai on overnight train.

The guide will pick up at the hotel for night train to lao Cai around 07:45pm. Overnight on train to Lao Cai.

Day 01: Lao Cai – Sapa (B, L)

Arrive in Lao Cai. Pick up and transfer to Sapa. Have breakfast at restaurant. Start a short hike at 8 a.m. to visit Ta Phin village. Meet friendly Black H’mong, Red Dzao minorities, explore their famous handicraft making. Lunch is served at local restaurant. Afternoon, free to explore Sapa on your own until dinner which will be held at a llocal restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Sapa.

Day 02: Sapa- Silver Waterfall – Tram Ton Pass – Cao Son (B, L, D)

Breakfast at the hotel then transfer to visit Silver Waterfall and Tran Ton Pass. Admire a beautiful waterfall and the highest pass in Vietnam – Heaven Gate (about 2000m), stunning views towards imposing mountains, over the wonderful valleys. Afternoon, leaving Sapa to Cao Son (about 110km from Sapa), that takes around 3hours with a stunning scenic on the way. Stop for photograph and optional taking a short trek in Nam Lu village (about 2hours). Dinner and overnight at Cao Son Lodge.

Day 03: Cao Son - Coc Ly - Trung Do - Lao Cai (B, L)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel. Take part in Cao Son market (if Wednesday) to enjoy the exciting atmosphere where local tribes gather to buy, sell and to socialize all the relationships then driving to village and school for charity activities and close contact with local people. Check out the hotel then descent to Coc Ly, the view becomes larger and larger until admiring the panorama of Bac Ha and Chay river. Boarding the boat downstream Chay river which leading to the habitat of Tay tribe, take a short trek in the village. Car pick up to Lao Cai Train Station, check in the hotel for bathing and enjoy the dinner before get on the night train back Hanoi. Overnight on train.

Day 04: Hanoi arrival

Guide and car pick up at Hanoi Railway Station around 04:30 to the hotel. Breakfast and early check in upon your request.
