In mid-March, either Vietnam and Cambodia announced amazing news: Fully reopened border!

On March 15 2022, the Vietnamese government announced to fully reopen Vietnam, restoring visa policy is as easy as before the pandemic and quarantine free.

At same time, Cambodia lifted all COVID restriction from 17th March 2022, no more PCR test requirement to entering Cambodia, not Rapid test upon arrival and tourist visa on arrival is available…

The newest regulations and necessary documents to enter Vietnam from March 16, 2022 as follows:

1.                  Visa Policy

* Restored from March 15, 2022 entry and exit procedures for foreigners as before the pandemic. It means that now travellers can easily apply e-visa or visa on arrival…..

* Apply 15 days visa exemption for citizens of the following countries: Germany, France, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, Russia, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, FinlandLan and Belarus.

* Restore visa exemption for foreigners under international treaties or bilateral visa exemptions as before the pandemic, the list is here

2.                   Document requirement and immigration

* Passengers need to complete the medical declaration procedure before entering the country by following the link https://tokhaiyte.vn

* Certification negative Covid-19 RT LAMP or RT-PCR result up to 3 days before departure or rapid test negative up to 1 day before departure (this regulation does not apply to passengers under 2 years old)

* Passengers need medical insurance to cover the cost of Covid-19 treatment (if any)

* Passengers need to download the app “PC-Covid” before arrival.The application can be downloaded at: http://www.pccovid.gov.vn/
