After nearly 2 years close border, finally we are happlily sharing wonderful wonderful news about Vietnam reopening.
On November 2, the government issued an official dispatch on temporary guidance on reopening forinternational tourists to Vietnam including stages:
Stage1: One stop – One destination
On 20th Nov, reopen Phu Quoc island, Nha Trang, Hoi An, Danang, Halong bay for all international travelers, who book all-inclusive packages, arrival by either charter and commercial flights. No quarantine & travelers can freely moving in the destination, where they are arrival & departure.
In this stage, traveler choose one of above destination for holiday, not able to move to other one. However, if traveler come to Danang, they can visit Hoian nearby.
Stage2: Multiple stops - Multiple Destinations
From January 2022 Reopen more other destinations, such as Hanoi, Hue, Sapa….
In this stage, travelers can travel among the opened destinations after stay 7days at arrival city. Such as: Arrival Danang, after freely explore and stay 7days in Danang, Hoi An, the travelers can continue their trip to nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Halong bay…..
Stage3: Fully opening
From Mar 2022, travelers is free to travel & explore Vietnam without any limits.
Travelling Conditions:
Having a certificate of full vaccination against COVID-19 (not applicable to children under 12 years old travelling with parents) no later than 12 months & sooner than 14 days or havinga certificate of recovery from COVID-19 no later than 6 months.
Certificate negative results for COVID by PCR test within 72 hours before departure
Have medical or travel insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum liability of $50,000.
Book a tour package of a travel agency (if to be a tourist)
The reopening process may be revised depends on the epidemic situation but with the rapid vaccination (75% of the population in the cities having fully vaccination), we believe that everything will going well as plan.
